The music. No other style of music relies so damned heavily on "hooks" and "riffs" and making things catchy.
Music first and foremost but I do like a good image after all its glam innit?
Oh yeah, I love the image also, but the music man. I would never have fallen in love with T-Rex just for the image way back when. I liked Electric Warrior, but once I heard The Slider, I was done for. His image wasn't overly GLAM.
Girls with few clothes, drugs, JD, attitude mostly bad. Not Poison, Crue or any of the other half baked late 80's American pish.
